    Criticare Medical Institute –Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Academy is seeking a Program Director to facilitate all of its EMS Education program. This is a full-time position and the prospect will be a high-level educator responsible to design, develop, organize and supervise the new educational programs and curriculum for EMS providers. The EMS Program Director has primary responsibility and authority to administer all the levels of the EMS program not limited to EMR, EMT, AEMT, Paramedic and Paramedic specializations such as FCP, CCP, CCP.

    The Community Response Behavioral Health Clinician will work in collaboration with Cobb County Fire and EMS and Cobb County Police Department on the Community Response Team with a focus on reduction of non- emergency 911 calls.  The clinician will respond in the community as member of the team with primary function of assessment of potential mental health and/or substance use disorders.  The clinician will assist with linkage to appropriate services for ongoing treatment.  Additionally, where deemed necessary the clinician will execute the 1013/2013 for transport to an emergency receiving facility for assessment for inpatient admission.  

    • Experience – Minimum 5 plus years of human services, social work and/or clinical experience

    Part-Time/Adjunct Paramedic/EMT Instructor
    Fire Training Academy
    Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services
    Salary is commensurate with experience ($20.00-$26.00 hourly), up to 29 hours per week with no benefits
    Gwinnett County Fire and Emergency Services is seeking a part-time/adjunct paramedic instructor for the department's Paramedic/EMT program.
    This position will assist the department's Training Academy staff and demonstrate knowledge and techniques of current procedures in the Paramedic/EMT field. The department's paramedic program is accredited by The Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).

    Duties include a flexible schedule of assisting with didactic, psychomotor and clinical courses as assigned to include oversight of students during patient care practice and testing, student record-keeping, and performance of other assignments outlined by the department's Paramedic/EMT education program. Instructors must follow and enforce Gwinnett County Department of Fire and Emergency Services' guidelines and practices.

    Camden County Fire Rescue is now offering new hire paramedics a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

    • Minimum Requirement: Must be certified firefighter or obtain certification within first year of employment. You must be NPQ Certified and obtain Georgia Paramedic Number.
    • Must complete two years of employment. If employee leaves prior to two years, employee will be pro-rated for the current six month period.
