Refund and Cancellation policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions for cancellations, refunds, and substitutions related to event registrations, exhibit booths, and membership purchases through the Georgia EMS Association (GEMSA).

Membership Fees

All membership payments are non-refundable. By submitting payment, members agree that fees are final and not subject to cancellation or refund.

Attendee Event Registrations

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing to Cathy White, GEMSA Operations Chief at program@georgiaemsassociation.com.
  • Cancellations received more than 30 days prior to the event start date will receive a refund less a $50 administrative fee.
  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 30 days of the event.
  • If a registered attendee does not attend the event, no refund will be issued and fees remain due in full, as expenses are already incurred with the venue.
  • Transfers to another individual may be allowed in select cases. Please contact GEMSA to inquire.
  • Paid registrations cannot be applied to future events.

Exhibit Booth Registrations

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing to Cathy White at program@georgiaemsassociation.com.
  • Exhibit cancellations made more than 30 days prior to the conference will receive a refund less a $100 processing fee.
  • No refunds will be issued for exhibit cancellations made within 30 days of the conference.

Refund Processing

  • Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment, minus any applicable administrative or processing fees.
  • Credit card processing fees will be refunded through our third-party processor, Affinipay, when applicable.

Event Cancellations by GEMSA

GEMSA reserves the right to cancel or reschedule events due to unforeseen circumstances, including low enrollment, venue issues, or emergencies. In such cases, registered participants will be notified and refund or credit options will be communicated.
