Tactical emergency casualty care (TECC)

The Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (TECC) program is based on the principles of Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) and meets the guidelines  established by the Committee on Tactical Emergency Casualty Care (Co-TECC). The course teaches civilian tactical EMS; any EMS practitioner called upon to respond to a mass casualty or active shooter event.

Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive NAEMT TECC Course Completion Certificates and wallet cards.

Registration will be limited to 20 students per course, so don't delay. The first qualified 20 students will be accepted.
Applicants beyond that will be placed on a waiting list.

If you are accepted to the course and have tactical gear - please bring it with you to the course.
Also please bring note taking material.

The course registration fee and lunch are provided with grant funding.   Not included: lodging, breakfast or dinner.

We have implemented a SEAT FEE for GEMSA sponsored Classes due to the 'no shows' we were having the day of class.  A $30 Seat Fee will be requested at the end of your application by Credit Card.  After you attend class - within a 30 day period, you will receive a $20 check mailed to you at the address your listed on the your application (or reimbursed to your credit card) along with a small gift.  If you cancel prior to 2 weeks of the class, you will receive a $20 reimbursement.  If you cancel within 2 weeks of the class or do not show up for the class, you will not reimbursed any funds.
