INTERESTED IN HOSTING a GEMSA Farm Medic Course?

We are now taking requests for Host Facilities, but will speak with the Regional Councils or RTACs for guidance on placement of the Labs within the Regions.

Below is a list of needs required to host a Farm Medic Course.

Day 1= slide presentation, Overhead projector/TV, and computer or computer hook up.

Day2= Is all day outside with equipment. We provide a tractor for rollover and 1800 pounds of grain for the grain skill. We usually let the dept. supply us with 1 piece of PTO driven equipment common to your area. Eg hay bailer, rotary mower, or any device you can secure. For show and tell. We will not take apart or destroy your equipment.

If possible we would like to have a front end loader or fork lift to help load tractor back on trailer at the end of class.

If you have additional questions, contact Travis McCoy - specialops@georgiaemsassociation.com or  Cathy White - program@georgiaemsassociation.com.
