GEORGIA TRAUMA SKILLS PROCEDURE LABS

LIMITED SPACE IS AVAILABLE - SERIOUS INQUIRES ONLY!

Georgia EMS Association and the Georgia Trauma Commission are offering a Georgia Trauma Skills Procedure Lab in Georgia with two available sessions each day. The sessions have been approved by Georgia’s Office of EMS & Trauma for 4 hours of CEUs.

Each Lab session will be the same lab for both AM and PM. There will be 5 to 7 rotating lab skill stations per session offering the following education: Direct/Video Laryngoscopy; EZ-IO; NIO; Chest Needle Decompression & Anatomy; Difficult Airway Simulation; and Bleeding Control & Wound Packing Simulation.

Your registration will be confirmed upon placement in a group within a few days of registration.  
(Dates subject to change if needed due to COVID-19.)

  • Fulton County - May 12, 2023   Morning Session 0800-1130 hours
  • Fulton County - May 12, 2023    Afternoon Session 1230-1600 hours
  • Barrow County - June 2, 2023   Morning Session 0800-1130 hours
  • Barrow County - June 2, 2023    Afternoon Session 1230-1600 hours

We have implemented a SEAT FEE for GEMSA sponsored Classes due to the 'no shows' we were having the day of class.  A $30 Seat Fee will be requested at the end of your application by Credit Card.  After you attend class - within a 30 day period, you will receive a $20 check mailed to you at the address your listed on the your application (or reimbursed to your credit card) along with a small gift.  If you cancel prior to 2 weeks of the class, you will receive a $20 reimbursement.  If you cancel within 2 weeks of the class or do not show up for the class, you will not reimbursed any funds.
